I am passionate about natural history – in a zoological wonder sense and in a conservation sense, and I feel strongly about conveying this through film and photography.
I have experience as a TV Researcher in Natural History programming, including children’s, BBC Four and BBC Two and in these roles and personal projects I also film and provide camera assistance.
I love learning, and currently want to develop my field and camera experience with wildlife. I also love a good story, and I have been privileged to work across many different natural history genres all with different styles of scripting and directing, which has given me experience and ideas of how to use these to effect for the right audiences.
I want to help create engaging wildlife, wild places and anthropological programmes in multimedia formats, in order to inspire people to protect them. I can see a lot of scope with making films with direct conservation links and benefits and this is something I want to explore more in the future.
